Ekklesia Faith Foundations 信仰根基
Believe 相信

As the Ekklesia, we are called out to be a community established not on human wisdom, but on unwavering trust in the living God.

作为Ekklesia(被召出来的群体),我们蒙召不是要建立在人的聪明上,而是要建立在对永生神那坚定不移的信靠之上。

Original Words |圣经原意

Hebrew | 希伯来文:

Aman (אָמַן) – to trust, be faithful, be established. 信靠、忠心、坚定不移。

Greek | 希腊文:

Pisteuō (πιστεύω) – to trust, rely on, entrust oneself to. 信赖、依靠、将自己交托。

The Biblical Meaning of Belief & Its Application to the Ekklesia

“相信”的圣经原意及其对今日Ekklesia(教会)的应用

1. The Core Meaning of Biblical Belief | “相信”的圣经核心内涵

John 3:16Belief as Total Entrustment 相信即是完全交托

In the original Greek, the word for believe is pisteuō. It goes far beyond intellectual agreement. It means to place your entire weight upon, to adhere to, and to trust implicitly. Jesus is not merely calling us to believe that He exists, but to cast our entire life, future, and eternity into His hands.

在希腊文圣经原意中,“信”是 pisteuō。它远远超越了头脑上的理智认同,而是意味着将你所有的重量都压在上面,紧紧依附并完全信赖。耶稣不仅是呼召我们去相信祂的存在(事实),更是呼召我们将整个人生、未来和永恒都交托在祂手中。

Proverbs 3:5 Belief as Relinquishing Control 相信即是放下主权

The Old Testament parallel to true belief is wholehearted trust. To "lean not on your own understanding" means that when God’s wisdom conflicts with human logic, human logic must bow. True belief requires a deliberate decision to step down from the driver's seat of our lives.

旧约中与真信心相呼应的是“专心仰赖”。“不可倚靠自己的聪明”意味着当神的智慧与人的逻辑发生冲突时,人的逻辑必须俯伏顺服。真正的相信,需要我们做出一个清醒的决定:从自己人生的驾驶座上退下来。

Application to the Ekklesia Today | 对今日Ekklesia(教会)的实际应用

The Ekklesia is not a building or a weekly event; it is the "called-out assembly" of believers commissioned to live out God's Kingdom on earth.

Ekklesia不是一座建筑物,也不是一个周日的活动;它是被神“召出来的群体”,受差遣在地上活出神国的实际。

From a "Gathering of Observers" to a "Body of Disciples"

从“旁观者的聚会”到“门徒的身体”

Modern church culture can easily breed "intellectual believers"—people who agree with Christian doctrines on Sunday but live by their own understanding from Monday to Saturday. John 3:16 reminds the Ekklesia that true belief demands a surrendered life. A healthy Ekklesia moves from mere knowledge to active surrender.

现代教会文化很容易培养出“头脑型的信徒”——那些在周日认同基督教教义,但在周一至周六却完全倚靠自己聪明生活的人。约翰福音 3:16 提醒 Ekklesia,真正的相信需要全然顺服的生命。一个健康的 Ekklesia 必须从“单单知道”走向“全然顺服”

Corporate Surrender Over Human Strategy

整体的顺服超越人的策略

It is easy for a Christian community to lean on human understanding—relying solely on management models, marketing strategies, or cultural trends to build the church. Proverbs 3:5 calls the Ekklesia to a posture of corporate humility. Before we strategize, we must surrender our cleverness to the Holy Spirit.

属灵群体很容易陷入仰赖人聪明的陷阱——仅仅依靠管理模式、营销策略或文化潮流来建造教会。箴言 3:5 呼召 Ekklesia 活出一种整体谦卑的姿态。在我们制定策略之前,我们必须先将自己的聪明放下,完全顺服圣灵的引导。

Living Out Eternal Life Now

在当下活出永生的见证

"Eternal life" is not just a ticket to heaven when we die; it is a quality of life that begins the moment we believe. When the world sees an Ekklesia completely entrusting their finances, families, and futures to Jesus—refusing to lean on worldly wisdom—the gathering becomes a powerful, living testimony of the Gospel.

 “永生”不仅是一张死后进天堂的门票,更是从我们相信的那一刻起就融入进去的神圣生命。当世界看到一个完全将金钱、家庭和未来交托给耶稣,且拒绝倚靠世俗聪明的 Ekklesia 时,聚集本身就成了福音最有力、最鲜活的见证。
